WHO WE ARE

Meet Our Expert

Hello, my name is Theresa Hamilton and I have been working in the environmental field since 1999. I have over 24 years working in the compliance and technical field for the Federal service. I've specialized in RCRA, UST, CWA, CAA, and Emergency Planning, First Responders. I've managed Hazardous Waste programs, oversaw cleanups, UST/ASTs, SPCC, EPCRA, Solid Waste, Pollution Prevention efforts, Landfills, CERCLA, and so many much more. I got my first taste of the environmental world when I was fresh in the Military back in 1998, and just knew that was what I wanted to do when I got out finally in 2005. So here I am, how can I help?

OUR STORY

It's just what we love

One thing that I will always carry with me from being a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Military is to make sure you take care of your people. I love helping people be the best that they can be. I love helping mold new people in the field and on their journey to becoming experts. I especially love having intellectual conversations with other professionals on interpretations of new laws and continuing to stay current on the proposed rules coming out.

Over the years of working on the ground level in a Maintenance Platoon for over 6 years, moving up as a manager of the Company program, then up to the Brigade, then finally up to the Installation level, I was able to see how and why we did the things we do. I've worked as a Soldier, Contractor, and Federal Employee. After working in specializing in different environmental medias, I felt I had some pretty great lessons learned, a few great stories, and wanted to help share what I had learned for the next generation of HAZMAT workers, Environemtal Technicians & Specialists, First Responders, and so many more.
